What is your understanding on “ airport tax “

For me, airport tax mean , the cost that you have to pay for using any services provided by the airport management. In other word “Charged by some airport for their services”

On the 8th June , YB Wee Choo Keong did brought up this issue and asked the ministry of transportation , did they aware about Air asia are keeping & refuse to return back the airport tax paid whenever passengers didn’t use their services ( NO SHOW ) .

The ministry replied : Yes they aware about it and currently forming up a new Act / policy “seksyen 8 Akta Wang Tak Dituntut 1965 (Pindaan 2002),”( the do have this shit )to ensure all the money will be returned back to passengers. So they were saying there are no legal act can be done against this unethical practice and some asshole succeeding exploit on this situation.

Interesting Fact :AirAsia has announced its profit for the year stands at RM250 million, which I believe airport tax forfeited is also part of this profit. But still Air asia were given allowance by the government.
It’s a shame they are nagging all around on landing / routing right ,..with Gov. and MAS.

The Fact : Air asia should pay back all the airport tax , whenever passengers failed to use their service. In fact , passengers didn’t come to airport at all.. why must they victimize for air asia’s greed practice.. shame on airasia

Question : How much is the total airport taxes that were stolen from poor passengers , How's the redemption process ( if there is any ). what is the action by The ministry of transport against air asia ( directors & kroni2 nya )and how can they ensure all the money will be return back to the passengers?

Moral : air asia should not take what not belong to them
